Every summer, St Justus hosts a week-long holiday club for children aged 5 – 11. The club runs from 10 am – 12 noon, Monday to Friday, usually in the second full week of the school holidays. Each year, there is a different theme; in 2018 this will be The Arctic. Over the course of the week, we use the theme to explore what it means to belong to God and follow Jesus. Every session includes stories, singing, craft, creative prayer and group time. The Holiday Club is one of our most popular events; in 2017 an average of 80 children and 45 volunteers attended each day.
There is a small charge for each child to cover costs; in 2017 this was £6 for the week.
At St Justus, we are committed to safeguarding children. All of our volunteers are DBS checked in accordance with Diocesan policy.
